Rows in the toilet
A competition for poems for the local toilets has been announced in the Scottish Shetland Islands. The subject matter is optional, no age restrictions, the only requirement is for the volume, because the poem must be printed in large type, easy to read when seated. Information about the competition entitled “Bard in the toilet” (The. Bard in the Bog) BBC News reported on Monday. The competition yield will be found in restrooms in the entertainment center and elsewhere in the Shetland Islands. Six new songs will be selected every three months, which will be placed in the toilets on special posters. The lines cannot be longer than 12 verses. Shetland poet and competition judge Jen Hadfield said: – I've always liked the idea of poetry infiltrating places, where no one expects her. And according to Karen Fraser of the local library, the contest could spark people's interest in poetry. – Perhaps they would look into the library and borrow more poems – hopes Fraser.
You can send poems to 7 brand, but it is possible, that there will be further editions of the competition, in June and September.
