A specialist opened a safe from a century and a half
Hearing on television about an antique safe that cannot be opened, a locksmith in Oregon decided to try his luck. To, which the experts could not do, it took Tom Gohan 2,5 hours. His feat was described by the Associated Press agency. Counting 159 years old safe, found at a factory in the city of Astoria during renovation, first a specialist from the renowned Massachusetts Institute of Technology tried to open. Another professional locksmith surrendered after 14 hours of effort. Meanwhile, the factory owner wanted to, to open the safe without disturbing it. Gohan turned and manipulated the safe's shield for so long, until he discovered the combination that opened him. As he explained, “you need to have a lot of patience for this, and concentration won't hurt either”. The contents of the safe have not yet been disclosed.
