Fraszka is a typical example of Kochanowski's moral picture, tinged with irony and satire. The piece is based on a characteristic situational comedy, one of the courtiers is his hero, famous lawyer and poet, Spaniard doctor Peter Roisius. It is through the eyes of a foreigner that we see the night scene from the Polish court (and the mansion is renaissance, able and willing to play) life: the cheerful company forces the doctor to participate in drunkenness. Individual characters are characterized by dialogues, short retort, sometimes epithets.
