The long preparations to break the world record were in vain, after the crowd of viewers ate the largest sandwich in the world before it was measured by representatives of the Guinness Book of Records. What was the plan? The record organizers wanted to do it quietly at first 1,5 km of sandwiches from 1400 kg of meat and then exhibit their work in a display case in one of the parks in the Iranian capital – Tehran. The three judges of the Book of Records were greatly surprised by this situation. Because they couldn't measure the sandwich, they could not consider it the greatest in history. Despite, the organizers are still counting, that their record will be recognized – the entire event, including the preparation of a record sandwich, was recorded on video cameras. The video will be sent to the judges. – We still pay attention, that our sandwich will be considered the largest.
