Veterinary is not just any field of study. As if she was not talked about, it is medicine, and there are many more subjects and amounts of knowledge than in the field of medicine. Why? In veterinary medicine, you need to get to know several species of animals very thoroughly: psy, cats, pigs, horses, cows, sheep, poultry, exotic animals, fishes. Only a human is in the field of medicine. Contrary to appearances, these species of animals are fundamentally different from each other. It is enough to browse through any anatomical atlas, to find out about it. You can work after veterinary medicine in many industries. Not everyone finishes these studies. Some quit in the process, others are kicked out, still others come to a conclusion at the end, that they do not want to work in the profession.
Most people find work in veterinary surgeries for pets – mainly dogs and cats. There are few doctors to care for farm animals such as cows, pigs, sheep, horses and others. After veterinary medicine, you can also work in the veterinary inspection, which controls the condition of the breeding. In addition, you can also find work in laboratories and, for example,. examine meat or other food products. After graduation, you can of course stay at the university and pursue a scientific career. Most students, however, dream of working in a clinic and actually helping animals, and not working behind a desk without contact with animals.
