A kitten trapped under the bathtub for seven weeks
A four-year-old kitten named Bonny was accidentally bricked up under the bathtub. She survived there for seven weeks.
– It is a real miracle! – said Monika Hoppert, 60-the summer widow of Stadthagen. – I deeply belive, that the guardian angel was watching over her. I am very happy – she added. Bonny is missing 19 June. In the block, where its owner lives, then the water installation was replaced. A black cat was last seen in a neighbor's apartment, where workers were just tearing off the lining at the bathtub.
– Probably Bonny stepped under the bathtub right before that, how the tiles were put back there – Hoppert said. In early August, one of the neighbors heard a pitiful meow, coming from behind the tiles, which lined the tub casing. The kitten's weight had dropped by then 6 do 2 Kilograms. – I could not believe that. But as soon as I went there and heard the meowing, I knew, that this voice can only belong to my Bonny – said the widow. The cat was so weak, that the vet had advised her to be put down. But the owner restored Bonny to health, by giving your pets diluted cat food. – Bonny was almost recovering.
This morning she jumped on my bed for the first time, as she used to do before – Hoppert said.
