Tadeusz Kosciuszko

Tadeusz Kosciuszko, and in fact Andrzej Tadeusz Bonawentura Kościuszko was born 4 February 1746 year, and he died 15 October 1817 year. He was primarily a general, both in Poland and in the United States. His hometown was Mereczowszczyzna in Polesie. The parents were Ludwik Tadeusz Kościuszko and Tekla née Radomski.

He started his education by going to the Piarist College in Lubieszów in 1755 year. Unfortunately due to family problems, he was forced to return, but for this in 1765 year, Exactly 18 of December, he joined the Knight School, which was founded by Stanisław August Poniatowski. He was a very good student, he even had a chance to attend an engineers course for very gifted students. Year 1769 was a breakthrough for Tadeusz Kościuszko, because at that time with the support of Adam Kazimierz Czartoryski, he had a chance to go with Józef Orłowski to Paris due to a scholarship.

Here his political views changed dramatically. He returned to Poland in 1775 year.

Later that same year, literally a few months later, he left again, this time to Dresden. He was looking for employment here as a military man, unfortunately it was a failure, so he decided to go to Paris, in which he learned about the American war. Tadeusz Kościuszko became famous for the insurrection, which he took over as the Supreme Commander of the National Armed Forces.
