In Poland, the prime minister is commonly referred to as the Prime Minister. In other countries, it is the name of the head of government. For example, the United Kingdom uses the name of the First Minister, which is translated from the original Prime Minister. In Germany, and also in Austria, the Chancellor performs the appropriate function of the prime minister, called Kanzler.

From 2011 year in the Republic of Poland, Donald Tusk is the prime minister. Ignacy Daszyński was the first prime minister. And his position was created exactly 14 November 1918 year.
