Analyze:
– Alfred Hitchcock directed, as many as four of the above films. All in the MYSTERY category: Vertigo, Rear Window, North by Northwest, and Dial M for Murder.
– The next one with three productions is Steven Spielberg (epics Schindler’s List and Saving Private Ryan, and the science fiction film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial) and Stanley Kubrick (2001: A Space Odyssey and A Clockwork Orange on the science fiction list, and the epic Spartacus).
– Six directors shot two films each: Martin Scorsese (Raging Bull in sports and Goodfellas in the gangster category), John Ford (Stagecoach and The Searchers, both westerns), Ridley Scott (Blade Runner and Alien, both science fiction), James Cameron (Terminator 2: Judgment Day in science fiction and Titanic in the epic category), Francis Ford Coppola (The Godfather and The Godfather Part II, both in the gangster category) i Sidney Lumet (Twelve Angry Men and The Verdict, both courtroom dramas)
– Walt Disney Pictures dominates in the Animation category, is a producer until 7 while the next two are released under his logo. Shrek is just not Disney.
