How to make an energizing dandelion and fruit smoothie
A dandelion-fruit smoothie is a great refreshing combination, additionally, it tastes great. It will get everyone on their feet, even after a sleepless night.
For starters, we need two handfuls of fresh dandelion leaves. We clean them thoroughly of all impurities. Then we peel one well-ripe kiwi, and finally, peel two bananas and cut them into slices. Put all ingredients into a blender and mix until smooth. If our cocktail isn't sweet enough, we can add a tablespoon or two of honey to it. Put the prepared smoothie in the fridge for approx 30 minutes.
It should be remembered that the drink with dandelion will have a distinct and slightly tart taste. If this taste does not suit us, we can add to the drink 3 tablespoons of natural yogurt, which will neutralize the characteristic bitterness. It is best to drink the cocktail in the morning. The vitamins and nutrients it contains will give our body a huge boost of energy that is most needed in the morning. In the summer, when we need additional refreshment, we can add some crushed ice to the smoothie, thanks to which the cocktail will also cool us down.
