The Council of Ministers

the Council of Ministers, otherwise, the government is a constitutional organ of executive power. From the moment of approval 2 April 1997 year of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland, a proper Council of Ministers will consist of the Prime Minister, and also ministers.

The most important tasks of the Council of Ministers include conducting domestic and international politics, managing the government administration, as well as performing many other activities, of course, based on the provisions contained in the Constitution of the Republic of Poland. We have a guarantee for this within the meaning of these laws, that the Council of Ministers adopts and implements laws, controls the work of government administration bodies, or its tasks include the protection of matters related to the State Treasury.

That there would be a government at all, a special procedure must be followed. Namely in the period 14 Days, from the date of the first sitting of the Sejm, or in exceptional situations it may also be the resignation of the previous Council of Ministers, the President plays the most important role here, who must appoint the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister will be responsible for forming the government.

In the next 14 Days, The Prime Minister proposes a list of all members of the Council of Ministers. The proposal is made for the President. Then the President takes the oath taken by the new Council of Ministers. When it comes to these events, The Cabinet is expected again 14 days to develop an action program. Here there is also a vote of confidence in the operation of the newly formed government.
