He lost the title of the world's tallest man

He lost the title of the world's tallest man.

The Ukrainian, Leonid Stadnik, lost the prestigious title of the highest man on earth to his predecessor, The Chinese Bao Xishun. How could this happen? Leonid did not shrink, nor Bao grew. It is about the measurement rules that have just changed. Representatives of the Guinness Book of Records could not get along with Leonid. Chinese Bao Xishun with growth 2 metry i 36 centimeters, he only held the title of the tallest man in the world for a year. W 2006 Leonid Stadnik took it from him, which measures amazing 2 metry i 57 centimeters. The Ukrainian's place among the record holders was awarded to him on the basis of a medical declaration – unlike Bao, who had to undergo a special and detailed measurement in the presence of the Guinness Records Commission. The interest in the category of the world's tallest man turned out to be so great, that it was decided to introduce strict and detailed rules for measuring candidates for the title. This is where the problem arose – Leonid, the current record holder refused to be measured. Why? – He told us straight, that it doesn't want to be measured. He wants neither fame nor media attention, which come together with the title of the supreme man. – says Craig Glenday, one of the representatives of the Guinness Records dealing with this matter. Leonid was adamant, even after being offered a free flight to the UK. The Ukrainian regards his record growth as a burden rather than an advantage. From childhood, he had problems with clothes, When “he grew up” he needed a specially prepared car, to be able to travel normally on the roads. Bao is the opposite of Leonid. He is very fond of the media attention and will surely be happy to find out, that he was once again the official tallest man in the world. He can be sure of being entered in the latest edition of the Guinness Book of Records, which will be released in the fall. The Chinese left his farm job and now supports his family through performances and carrying out various tasks, which people of normal height would not be able to do. He recently saved two dolphins, which have swallowed large pieces of plastic. Bao managed to reach into the animals' stomachs and pull out dangerous items.
