Internet users' favorite words: “1234” i “password”
Internet users are not very creative in coming up with passwords – results from research published by Information Week magazine. How we secure access to bank accounts, mail and other private data? Oh well… not very original. The list was analyzed 28 thousands of passwords recently stolen from popular American sites, later posted on the web. The leaders include, among others. Pokemon, Matrix, Hannah (among the fans of the series ”Hannah Montana”). And these are the more original slogans. 16 % the boarders gave their first name as the password (own or children). Next 14 % were easy to remember combinations on the keyboard, e.g.. ”1234”, ”qwerty”. Show business stars, trusted the names of television programs 5% boarding schools. It is also very popular “password”, “password1”, e.t.c. There was also room for “I do not care”, “I love”, “I hate”, “So” i “NO”.
