Seller, who broke a tooth on a cookie while visiting a customer, will be reimbursed for treatment, because he is due compensation for an accident at work – the Supreme Administrative Court of Sweden ruled. 50-year-old Calle Montell applied for compensation, claiming, that a tooth broke while working. He said, that he is very pleased with the court's ruling, because now everyone, who works outside the company premises, will be able to eat something without fear, because his case is also covered by the principles of labor law and health and safety at work.

Judgment of the court of 18 January ended the legal battles, that started 31 October 2002 year, when Montell, served by the customer with a fruit cookie, broke a tooth on a cherry stone.

First, the insurance refused to cover his dentist's bill in the amount 4 thousand. Swedish crowns (440 euro), recognizing, that breaking a tooth has nothing to do with doing work. The case went to two courts, before finally the Supreme Administrative Court issued its own – final – judgment.

Montel, who sells ceramic stoves, he said, that he contacted the insurance office on Wednesday, but he has not yet received the money.
