The horse died in the war – money is owed

The peasant's family, who gave the horse to the Polish army in 1939 year, he wants a refund for the confiscated animal. The PiS MP from Bielsko-Biała was involved in the case, informs “Diary” . MP Stanisław Pięta got a real task from the family of Franciszek Wolny from the village of Radziechowy near Żywiec: recover money for a horse confiscated by the Polish army in 1939 year.

The value of the animal was assessed on the issued ticket 270 PLN. The money was to be collected at the tax office in Żywiec. During the war, there was nowhere to pay the receipt, and then the people's state was reluctant to pay such obligations.

Mr Pięta took the matter to the fore. But the Treasury Ministry to the question, could the horse problem of Franciszek Wolny's family be solved somehow, denied it.

“We analyzed this case both with us, and in the Government Legislation Center. In the current legal situation, the Minister of the Treasury does not have any instruments, allowing for its solution” – Paweł Piotrowski, Undersecretary of State, wrote in a letter to the deputy.

The MP, however, is determined: “I am convinced, that I will carry out the entire legislative process to the end and that the officials will pay the money to the farmers”, announces.
