Which meat is healthy
Meat is an integral part of our diet. I eat them for dinner, breakfast and dinner. We use it as an addition to sauces, pasta, casseroles, salads. We consume them in such large quantities, therefore it is worth considering, which types of meat are better for our health and well-being.
Meat contains a lot of fat, especially saturated fatty acids. They are very unfavorable for us. They make, that the level of cholesterol in the blood rises, which could lead to a heart attack or stroke in the long run. It is for this reason that we should choose species, which contain the lowest possible amounts of these unfavorable fats. This group includes mainly meats such as chicken, turkey, rabbit and veal. Let's remember, that they should be additionally prepared in an appropriate way, i.e.. we can't fry them, nor stew with browning. This is also important, which part do we decide on. Let's choose breast fillets rather than thighs or wings. Breast meat is much leaner than other parts. We absolutely always take the skin off, because it is very oily. Listed types of meat, properly prepared, they are delicate and easily digestible.
Let's try to avoid pork in our diet, beef, mutton, goose and duck. They are very caloric, fatty and hard to digest.
