The acronym OMG is very often used by teenagers, who communicate with each other using instant messaging such as gadu-gadu, or skype. The types of Facebook also use this abbreviation on social networks, Our class, or Twitter. And ending with the use of this abbreviation in text messages or in ordinary dialogues carried out with each other "live".
This abbreviation stands for the English text Oh My Good, which in Polish means exactly “Oh my God!”. However, contrary to appearances, it is not a call to God or some short prayer. Rather, young people use it very colloquially and in really strange situations.
An example would be a reaction to a shocking news, her best friend announces, that Zosia from class III c, however, she is pregnant with her boyfriend, who had recently left her. Of course, the abbreviation OMG can be used with varying degrees of intensity. With this message, it will surely be almost a scream that will be dragged on for as long as possible. Sometimes a teenager happens to say OMG acronym, or rather, sigh him in front of his parents, who ask if he really did his homework.
As you can see, there are really many uses for OMG. Everything, however, should be interpreted, according to the context, in which it will be used. This is obviously a fashion, which will pass sooner or later, and the OMG text itself will be replaced with a new slang, which will be invented by the new generation.
