In Mainz, a 40-year-old man was brought on trial for robbing a bank three times in a few months, in which he had his account. – I have never offended bank employees, when i asked for money, because I knew everyone well – he said during the trial. Plagued by debts in the amount of 20 thousand euros and the constant craving for cocaine the man took in February 2007 years of spontaneous robbery decision. He was riding his bicycle to the bank branch just before closing time. Then he put on a balaclava and threatened the cashier with a bogeyman and demanded money. In the first two cases, the gun was not loaded at all. The police captured the man during another money theft, in November 2007 year. The thief managed to take all three attacks together 51,5 thousand. euro. The judge showed a sense of humor, calling the vice of a man “an alternative form of withdrawing money”.
