You can currently study veterinary medicine in several Polish cities: in Wroclaw, in Warsaw, Olsztyn, Lublin, Poznań and Kraków. So there is 6 centers, where veterinary studies are waiting for those who are willing. The thresholds for veterinary medicine are not all that high. That's enough 150 points from the advanced matura exam in chemistry and biology, to get in. In Krakow, English is also taken into account. There is no separate department for veterinary medicine in Krakow, and the studies are conducted by the University Center of Veterinary Medicine of the Jagiellonian University and of Agriculture. Graduates of this field of study receive the title of a veterinarian and can safely look for a job in their profession, not only in Poland, but also abroad.

These are new studies in Krakow. Currently, veterinary medicine will celebrate its third year. Just in 3,5 the first graduates of this field will appear in the year. Everyone is curious about it, how they will be prepared to work in veterinary medicine. Nevertheless, the centers of the Jagiellonian University and the University of Rzeszów are very well stocked and the classes are going on as planned. So far, the clinics are not built, which doesn't mean, that they will not appear. This year, clinical classes will take place in Krakow clinics or they will be trips to Puławy. Everything will turn out during this academic year. The studies are definitely worth recommending.
