How to make a Greek salad
A well-prepared Greek salad is great as an appetizer, addition to dinner or a party snack. There are many recipes for Greek salad and they can be modified almost freely. However, it should be remembered, that good taste of Greek salad will be provided by good quality ingredients.
A Greek salad requires a head of iceberg lettuce, two tomatoes, Red onion, fresh cucumber, you can also add olives. Tear the lettuce into small pieces with your fingers, Cut the tomatoes into fairly large cubes, onion into thin slices, likewise cucumber. The ingredients must be put in a salad bowl and lightly sprinkled with salt, and the excess water released by the vegetables must be poured away. The ingredients can be sprinkled with herbs, put the sliced feta cheese on top. If you want the sauce to be spicy, you can add a teaspoon of mustard to it. I also like a different version of the Greek salad, in which I use diced oscypek cheese instead of feta cheese. Instead of feta cheese, which is quite expensive, you can use cheaper salad cheese, e.g.. of Favita.
Preparing a Greek salad is not difficult, it can be made in approx 30 minutes. Such a salad is great for parties, surely everyone will eagerly eat it, especially if we diversify the recipe somehow.
