How to make leek salad
Leek and apple salad works well as an addition to meat and fish. It has a very original flavor, which may appeal to many people.
First, we clean the two medium pores. We cut them lengthwise and finely shred both the white and green parts. Sprinkle with ¼ teaspoon of salt and half a teaspoon of sugar. We wait a moment and after a while we knead lightly with a wooden spoon to let the leek release some juice. Peel one large apple and grate it on a large-mesh grater. We put them in time and mix them together. Add ¼ cup of cream to the rest of the ingredients and mix thoroughly. Season with lemon juice or citric acid to taste, possibly we also sprinkle some salt and pepper or chili pepper. Mix the prepared salad again and leave it in the fridge. It's best to make this salad at least 30 minutes before serving, because it should stand for a while so that all the flavors blend well together. We serve the prepared salad as an addition to the main courses.
