Where you live can affect your personality
The latest research proves, that the place of residence may directly reflect the personality of the person concerned, because people with similar characteristics tend to flock. Scientists from the British University of Cambridge have found, that the people of London are the most creative, hardworking and intellectually developed extroverts in Great Britain, although at the same time they show the greatest tendency to groan. In turn, residents of Devon counties, Cornwall, Northumberland and Tyneside are the most neurotic and unsociable, and the eastern Midlands is home to the most cheerful and conscientious Britons. Researchers are currently working on “personality map”, where the British Isles would be presented in terms of the character traits predominant in specific regions of the country.
Research shows, that generally such features, like intelligence, extraversion and openness are related to the need to live in a big city, while those who are more introverted and distanced prefer to live in the countryside or in small towns.
