Scientists have acquired the blood and cells of the dinosaur
Paleontologist Mary Schweitzer of the University of North Carolina says, that she discovered elements resembling blood and cells in dinosaur bones - informs the website worldnetdaily.com. Schweitzer had announced a few years earlier, that she was able to isolate pieces of tissue from Tyrannosaurus bones. However, the bone was destroyed during the research, so the palaeontologist was unable to prove her claims. Now the Schweitzer research team has conducted a study of the hadrosaurus bones, preserved in sandstone. Contrary to previous scientific theories, it turns out, that the pieces of tissue can survive for millions of years.
