THORGAL TOMY 3-5 HACHETTE COLLECTION
Thorgal convinced me, Hachette convinced me. Here are three more issues from the collection.
After reading the second volume of Thorgal: Ice Sea Island, I decided to subscribe to the Hachette collection. The main reason is, of course, the comic itself, but I also considered the extras, we get in each issue. As I mentioned in previous entries, I have never had contact with this series, therefore I was skeptical, but the first two songs made a good impression on me. Curious the plot and beautiful drawings made, that I will be happy to read the next volumes. I really deserve great appreciation for Grzegorz Rosiński, for his great drawings, his work can undoubtedly be called art.
Given, that I pay attention to all kinds of gadgets, I could not give up Thorgal from the Hachette collection for releases from other publishers, who are devoid of all this areola. I still do, that reproductions of graphics attached to each issue, it's the best that the publisher could give us. There is also information about the comic book characters, from which we can learn a lot of interesting information. This is especially useful for individuals, that have not had anything to do with the Thorgal series before. We get it all in every issue, no matter if we buy at a kiosk or get a subscription, that's why it's worth mentioning what surprises await subscribers. The first pack will include a portrait of the comic's main character. You can see the photos below. It is not something unique and especially satisfying, but must be taken into account, that this is only the first shipment and the publisher will get started with each new one. So, it is definitely in the second and third numbers, in which we will successively receive mug with graphics related to the comic book and a T-shirt with the inscription Thorgal. Unfortunately, this is where the privileges of subscribers end, and if I am to be sweet, I do not see any point in continuing to maintain the subscription, if in a kiosk we can get the same comic for the same price. This is probably the biggest problem I have with Hachette's offer. I think, that the price reduction for subscribers to 50 PLN for two volumes would be a great solution and attract even more interested parties.
That's it for today, in the middle of the month I should receive a package with two more volumes, so you can expect another entry, but I will be focusing more on the plot itself. Meanwhile, I start reading the fifth volume, and I encourage you to commenting.
