Valentine's Day illegally in love in French
A seven-minute blind date on a ship on the Seine, love letter contest, or maybe a prom “illegal” in love – are French ideas for an original holiday of lovers. The Anglo-Saxon custom of Valentine's Day is gaining more and more followers in France every year. French marketers are outdoing each other in ideas to confirm the romantic legend of Paris. On these, who haven't found their half yet, are waiting on the evening of St.. Valentine “quick blind dates” (The. speed dating) on one of the ships plying on the Seine. The idea of having fun is simple: each participant of the game, among whom there are equally men and women, points to seven people he did not know at random, and has no more than seven minutes to talk to each of them. It is forbidden to exchange phone numbers or arrange another date. After the meetings, each participant chooses one person, with whom he wants to spend the rest of the evening.
Another interesting way to have a Valentine's Day evening is organized by an association “Cursed lovers” all over France balls for “illegal” couples in love. Thus, attention is paid to mixed pairs, which due to clerical obstacles (e.g. one of the partners does not have a residence permit in France) they cannot legally live together. On the square in Lyon, such pairs are to be made “big fictional wedding”. As every year on Valentine's Day in France, a national competition for the most beautiful handwritten love letter is announced (up to 25 poems). A romantic weekend at the hotel awaits the winners.
