Is it worth consuming flaxseed?
Unfortunately, linseed is still an underrated product in Poland. It turns out, that there are people, who don't even know, what flaxseed looks like. They are common flax seeds. They are brown in color and flattened. They are often used as a therapeutic agent. Flaxseed can be purchased as seeds or in powdered form (made by machines). Better to buy seeds, because they have full nutritional value. You should pour hot water over them. Then they increase in volume and surround themselves with a large amount of mucus. It will be a bit like linseed kissel. The whole thing is rather tasteless and you should not expect any revelations. However, it is definitely a very healthy snack.
Well, linseed has protective and stabilizing properties, therefore it has a very good effect on the respiratory system, digestive tract and the outer surfaces of the body. If we have a sore throat, Belly, we have diarrhea, our stomach hurts, we should brew ourselves linseeds. Perfectly affects the digestive tract, gives a feeling of fullness, makes, that the food does not irritate the intestines and normal fecal masses are formed. It contains a lot of fiber, vitamin B1 and vitamin B6, magnesium, calcium, iron and zinc. Of course, there is also fat in the seeds (flax as an oil plant) and proteins. The ground kernels can be added to many dishes throughout the day.
