Recharge the battery in your cell… dancing!
It turns out, that dancing will charge you not only with positive energy, but also helps to charge your phone. All thanks to a portable charger, which converts the kinetic energy released during the dance. The charger is slightly smaller than a pack of cards and weighs approx 180 grams. Fixed on a black tape, it looks like an mp3 protector for jogging people. – We wanted to create a funny one, endearing and interactive product, that would encourage users to smile while charging their cell and testing a new way of using energy – underlines Hattie Magee, representative of the gadget manufacturer, company Orange. While dancing, Thanks to specially designed weights and magnets, electricity is generated, which powers the battery. The prototype of the gadget was created in cooperation with GotWind, which specializes in renewable energy. The invention will be presented at the annual Glastonbury festival, which will start 27 June. The charger will also be useful to people, who don't dance like Fred Astair or Ginger Rogers. It doesn't matter how you dance. The most important, to move your hands quickly and forcefully. Unfortunately, the price of the device is not known yet.
