A book on the future of white cheese won the annual UK competition for the weirdest book title – reported the trade magazine “The Bookseller”. Parker has won “Diagram Prize” – an award granted by the trade magazine of booksellers. Among the finalists of this year's competition are: “Dwarf chimpanzee metaphysics” Dorothy Cheney i Roberta Seyfartha, “Stylish strip-tease and crocheting”, “Corrosion monitoring techniques”, “The large sieve and its applications”. A book about the future “Cream cheese” (lit. fresh cheese) – a cream-like white cheese from France, is a retail market study for this product. Publishing house “Icon Group” offers them for 795 dollars. Magazine Award “The Bookseller” is awarded from 1978 year; winners are selected by public vote. Prize winners from previous years include: “Make your home bombproof”, “Living with crazy asses” and “People, who don't know, that they are dead: How they become attached to unsuspecting eyewitnesses and what to do about it.”
