Russia: the driver by mistake became a millionaire
A Moscow court sentenced a man to eight years in prison, who became a millionaire as a result of a banking server error. He was accused of misappropriating someone else's money. The driver of the Moscow metro set up an online bank account. Due to a server error, he was granted access to the bank's money. Within six months, the man transferred to his account 85 million rubles, that is, the equivalent 8,5 one million zlotys. With this money, he purchased a whole fleet of passenger cars, stock market shares and a home for a friend. He also planned to buy a hotel on the Black Sea. Didin't make it. Now, as noted by the Russian media, will have to revise his plans – Instead of resting in a seaside resort, he will spend the next eight years on a prison bunk.
