The first such childbirth: only one of the triplets was born
In Rennes, a woman expecting triplets gave birth to the first triplets, two are still in the womb – French media reported. According to specialists, this is the first such case in France. As reported in the media, last week he was born prematurely in a clinic in the west of the country – just after 25 weeks of pregnancy – the first of the three boys expected by the mother. The newborn, healthy and weighing normal for a premature baby, was ahead of two brothers, who still have to wait for the birth, probably for a few days, and maybe even weeks. Specialists emphasize, that this is the first time in France that the birth of triplets was postponed. Previously, similar cases had been reported in this country, but they were about twins. It was a medical event when it was administered to a woman – after the birth of the first son – special drugs, which allow you to extend the period of pregnancy.
Doctors wanted to prevent this, that all newborns are premature.
