Police officers from the Central Investigation Bureau detained an inhabitant of Sosnowiec, who dealt with the distribution of drugs. To increase the weight of marijuana – and consequently profits – “enriched” drug with cat litter. The press team of the Silesian police reported on Thursday, that the 28-year-old portioned drugs in a rented apartment in Katowice. Police officers from CBŚ found marijuana worthy there 150 thousand. PLN, scales for portioning and a foil sealer. Turned out, that man, to earn more, “ennobled” marijuana with litter, which is poured into cat litter boxes. “He was pouring the drug into the bathtub, then doused it with a solution of sugar water. After the water was evaporated, the whole thing was sprinkled with gravel, which stuck to the drug, adding to its weight” – Adam Jachimczak from the press team of the Silesian police told PAP. More than seven thousand dealers' plots could be made from the marijuana secured in the apartment.
As determined by CBŚ investigators, a man for over a year could introduce several hundred thousand portions of drugs with a black market value in excess of one million zlotys to the market. During the operation, CBŚ also detained another inhabitant of Sosnowiec. 30- the year-old was leaving the apartment, where a moment earlier he had bought a large amount of drugs. Both men were arrested by a court decision. He threatens them to 10 years in prison.
