A sin really … stink

Immoral and inappropriate behavior really leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Canadian scientists, who analyzed the facial expressions of respondents in various situations, they found the reaction to a morally unacceptable situation resembled physical disgust. The classic sign of disgust is a puckering upper lip and a wrinkled nose, which has become established as a deterrent signal against poisons and pathogenic substances. The researchers found, that the volunteers participating in the experiment reacted with grimaces of disgust to both the bad smell, unpleasant taste of the drink or photos of bloody injuries, as well as the situations, in which they were treated unfairly.
