A story with a moral
Long ago, long ago, in a village in India a man made a report, that he would buy monkeys by paying for 10 dollars apiece. The villagers, seeing, that there is an abundance of monkeys around, they set off into the forest, to catch them. The man bought thousands of monkeys after 10 dollars, but when their population began to decline, the villagers gave up their efforts.
So the man announced, that he would pay for the monkey after 20 dollars. It made, that the villagers stepped up their efforts and started catching monkeys again. Soon, however, the monkey population declined even more, and people began to return to their farms. The rate has been raised to 25 dollars, and the monkeys got so little, it was a problem to see a monkey at all, let alone catch me.
So the man announced, that he will buy monkeys after 50 dollars apiece! However, because he had to go to the city on important business, his assistant remained in the village, to run the purchase on his behalf. In his absence, the assistant offered the villagers: “Look at this huge cage and all these monkeys, which he collected. I'll sell them to you for 25 dollars, and when the man returns from the city, you will sell them to him after 50 dollars. " The villagers took out all their savings and bought out all the monkeys. And they never saw the man or his assistant again, only monkeys everywhere. Welcome to WALL STREET.
