Great Britain: oldest Rolls-Royce sold
The oldest Rolls-Royce in the world was sold in Great Britain for a record price 3,5 a million pounds (almost 5 million euros) – announced the auction house Bonhams in London. The selling price was twice as high as projected. It was achieved after a sharp telephone auction with buyers bidding each other up repeatedly. The lucky buyer of an oldtimer is an anonymous private collector. Counting to themselves 103 years the car was produced in 1904 year, the first year of production of the famous luxury brand. It has a relatively low sequence number 20154, and its engine is only ten horsepower.
