The researchers wrote in the article, that the case documented by them is a complete novelty. According to our knowledge, this kind of complex behavior, which requires coordinated movements, had not previously appeared in the literature on somnambulism. The patient experienced a shock, when she saw her e-mails, for she did not remember the act of writing them at all, and as a child she did not suffer from night terrors or sleepwalking. Toledo specialists suppose, that nighttime wanderings are the result of prescribed sleeping pills, however, the mechanism is not yet well understood. The new version of sleepwalking has already got its name: zzz-mailing (The. zzz-mailing).
