The smallest Mona Lisa in the world

The smallest Mona Lisa in the world

Legendary “Mona Lisa” it has been appearing in art for years, reproduced and transformed in all possible ways. Word “record” it pushes people to do strange things. Some people even iron under water, others paint miniature versions of great painting masterpieces. 44-Andrew Nicholls, a summer man from the UK, has been painting pictures in dollhouses for years. – I am able to paint any picture in less than an hour. But the Mona Lisa is very hard to recreate, and I wanted to give you all the details faithfully. The result of his work is a replica with dimensions 11 on 7 millimeters. The picture was made on a tiny piece of paper, using a super-small brush with literally a few hairs. The previous record was 13 on 9 millimeters and belonged to the Luxembourger Yves Gerard. His work is now in a special miniature museum in the city of Drome. Interestingly, the current record holder has never seen the original painting: – I would love to go to the Louvre and see the Mona Lisa. I could match my reproduction with the original, so that people can compare the size of both pictures.
