Olsztyn: A frightened horse traveled in a Fiat Uno
The amazement of the policemen from Olsztyn must have been enormous, when they saw a horse in a fiat uno. The inhabitants of Świątki near Olsztyn came up with this idea, who bought a foal near Warsaw and decided to transport it to their farm. As informed by the spokeswoman for Warmia- the Masurian police Anna Siwek, officers were informed, that a horse is transported in the passenger car. – The report seemed unlikely. However, when the policemen went to the indicated place, on the exit road to Szczytno, it turned out to be true. In the Fiat Uno there was a 120 kg foal in the back – Siwek said. Probably the unusual passenger would not be noticed by anyone, if not for the car breakdown. The men had to stop right at the entrance to Olsztyn, in the Masurian Colony, due to a failure of the muffler. Then someone, amazed by the sight of the horse in the car, called the police. Inventive men took the rear seat from the car and placed it on the roof, and in its place they put a horse.
The animal was a little scared. Police officers punished the driver with a 200-zloty fine for using the car in a manner inconsistent with its intended use.
