With a horse from now 5500 Years

The first horses were domesticated 5500 years ago, that is a thousand years earlier, than is commonly believed – reported a British magazine “Science”. For the first time, people managed to tame horses in the northern parts of Kazakhstan, adjacent to today's border with Russia. The latest research was carried out by an international group of scientists from British universities in Bristol about Exeter. During these works, they discovered the remains of four horses in the Kazakh steppes, dating from the late Stone Age. The analysis of the bones showed their complete identity with the corresponding bones of horses, which were bred by man in the Bronze Age, That is 4,5 a thousand years ago. Thus, scientists have found biological evidence of this, that the domestication of horses had occurred at least a thousand years earlier, than thought.
