“Middle” the child is most loved

The latest research confirms the popular opinion, according to which the "middle" child in the family receives much less attention from the parents, than his younger and older siblings. As many as one-third of parents raising three children admit, that their second child might count on a little less interest, than his siblings. A lack of parental interest can have a beneficial effect on a child's development - up to 40% of the surveyed "middle" children admit, that their maturation happened much faster due to a specific family situation. 45% people, which were in the middle among siblings, obtained a better academic education thanks to greater independence.
