Winter Olympics in Sochi 2014 lasted from 7 do 24 February, showing us skirmishes as far as in 15 various winter sports. More than 10,000 people participated in all competitions 2900 players from all over the world. Perhaps the most famous players were the Bobsleighists from Jamaica, who, due to their climate, did not have very good conditions to train.

However, to sum up the Olympics, which took place and caused everyone a lot of different emotions, you can notice, that it was truly amazing. Poland took the final medal standings 11 place Finding myself so high in the background 26 countries, which in general fell into this classification and against the background 88 team, which took off at all, this is a really great result.

The first place was won by Russia, which eventually won until 33 medals. Including 13 zlotys, 11 silver, and 9 brown. The second place was awarded to Norway, with the result 11 gold medals, 5 silver and 10 brown. Canada stood on 3 place, to be proud of 10 gold medals, 10 silver, and 5 brown.

Our team brought to the country as much as 4 gold medals won by Kamil Stoch, Justyna Kowalczyk, and also Zbigniew Bródka. In addition, we had one silver and one bronze medal. Both were scored by team speed skating.
