How to make herbal sauce
Herbal sauce goes perfectly with many dishes, both warm, and cold. It can be served with meat dishes, with fish and as an addition to sandwiches or grilled dishes. Made at home it is so much better.
Our herbal sauce is based on mayonnaise and natural yoghurt. Mix one and a half glasses of yogurt with half a glass of mayonnaise. Add to this mixture a teaspoon of chopped herbs: chives, mint, dill, parsley and tarragon. You can also use dried herbs, although fresh, they have much more flavor. Gently mix everything, seasoning with sugar, salt and pepper. To sharpen and emphasize the flavor, you can add three more tablespoons of brandy. The sauce prepared in this way should be put in the refrigerator for a few hours, so that all flavors can blend well with each other. While preparing the sauce, you can make several portions at once, and then store the finished sauce in a jar for several weeks. Thanks to the addition of brandy, the sauce does not deteriorate too quickly and is suitable for consumption for a long time.
