How to make rose jam
We start preparing rose preserves by cleaning two beaten glasses of rose petals. We cut off the white tips of the petals. Then put the cereal in a bowl and cover it with two glasses of sugar.
Start rubbing the flakes with sugar with a wooden stick, until you can no longer feel the sugar. You can also use a blender for this treatment, however, when rubbed with a stick, they taste much better. However, it takes a lot more time. Add a pinch of citric acid to the resulting mixture and continue to mash for a while, that all the ingredients come together well.
We steam the jars for preserves thoroughly. Put the ready mass into jars and tighten it. It is important that the jars are tight. These preserves do not need to be pasteurized with heat. That's enough, that they will be stored in the refrigerator.
The preserves prepared in this way are delicious and have a very intense aroma and taste. They are perfect as an addition to the traditional one, black tea. It is also suitable as a filling for donuts and cupcakes, and as an addition to many other cakes and desserts.
