The world's largest sweet steam locomotive
Not railwaymen, but the confectioners under the leadership of world champion Mieczysław Chojnowski will build a replica of the locomotive from dough and cream. The world's largest sweet steam locomotive can be viewed and… tasted 2 May in Wolsztyn. Wolsztyn, city in Greater Poland, which is associated with one of the last active steam engine houses in the world, in the coming weeks it will become the Polish capital of confectioners and bakers. At noon 2 in May, a dozen or so people will try to set a world record in Wolsztyn, which has not been yet – the largest sweet steam locomotive in the world will be built. Scale cake 1:1 will be 10m by 4m and weight over 1,5 tony. A group of confectioners has been working on the details of the project for several weeks now - a template is being cut out, on which the sweet steam locomotive will be placed, the recipe of the dough is intensively established, the taste and color of creams and all the other sweet additives and details.
