Total telephone bill 85 thousand dollars was given to a resident of the Canadian city of Calgary. Man, who used his cell phone to surf the internet, he says, that the operator did not inform him about the high charges and demands a reduction of the bill. 22-summer Piotr Staniaszek, son of Polish immigrants, bought his cell phone from Bell Mobility. For 10 monthly fee of dollars got unlimited access to the network. He used the phone as a modem for a laptop, to which he downloaded movies and other large files from the Internet. In November, Staniaszek received a bill for the amount 65 thousand dollars. Seat, it's a mistake, contacted the operator. From him he found out, that it's a download fee, and that the bill rose to 85 thousands. The man claims, that he did not know about the additional costs, and he usually paid around 150 dollars.

Bell Mobility spokesman Jacques Bouchard told CBC that the company cut the Polish bill “in a gesture of goodwill” to approx 3 thousand dollars. However, Piotr Staniaszek claims, that the operator should have informed him about the dangerously increasing receivables and he is demanding that it be reduced to the usual monthly amount.
