The Guinness record in the throw of a washing machine was broken in Białogard. To this day, the record belongs to Bill Lindon from Australia and it was 3 m 28 cm. He is the new record holder 30 summer Dariusz Słowik, Canadian champion in discus throwing. Earlier, the strongman was already a Guinness record holder in 2003 years in pushing a car. He collected this way 10.000 dollars for a little Canadian boy with cancer. In Białogard, Dariusz Słowik threw a 48-kilogram washing machine from a distance 3 and a half meters, and the throw he dedicated 14 summer, Weronika, who is suffering from blood cancer. The action was initiated by the mayor of Białogard, Stefan Strzałkowski, who in his youth also went down as a record holder in the Guinness Book of rolling beer kegs. Today he declared, that Weronika will receive a laptop, and the record broken by Dariusz Słowik is the beginning of a great action to help Weronika.
