Ranson Academy

Ranson Academy, private painting school est. 1908 in Paris by P. Ransona, which on its basis tried to record and use the experiences – naïve artists in the field of decorative painting. Teaching methods at A.R. they were liberal; taught here by M.. Denis, P. Serusier, E, Vuillard and many others. avant-garde artists. Closed during the Second World War, A.R. resumed operations in 1951.
