He did not know, that he stole the car
He drove a Daewo Tico for several days, which he unknowingly stole from a resident of another town near the hospital in Bełchatów. The desperate owner of the car notified the police. After a few days it became clear, that the identical tico of the 60-year-old was standing in front of the hospital during this time, and the man just got it wrong, bo… the keys matched. 60-a year-old from Zelów near Bełchatów (Lodzkie) he left the hospital in Bełchatów, he took the keys from his pocket, he got into the green tico without any problems and drove home. After a few days, the police knocked on him. The man was surprised, when it turned out that he was the perpetrator of the theft. In day, where he left the hospital, 25-a year-old woman reported to police theft of an identical green Daewo from a hospital parking lot.
Someone put gas on me
60-the year-old did not believe in the police officers' innuendo and went with them to the workshop where he gave the car… His ignition was stuck. In the workshop it turned out, that the mechanic has not yet had time to replace the "defective" part, and after opening the trunk of the car, the old man said surprised: O! Someone put gas on me. But then it hit him, that the policemen are right, and the daewo is not his property.
Second tico in the parking lot
60-the year-old had to go back to Bełchatów, where in the hospital parking lot, his car was covered with snow. The policemen solved the case thanks to a visit to the site of the "theft".
Their entry in the theft report was intriguing, about a similar green tico standing two places away. Seeing standing and evidently unused for several days, identical car, like the one they were supposed to look for, decided to contact the owner. “Little ones” daewo to their rightful owners and law enforcement officers "discontinued the proceedings before commencing".
